Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. Days would be Monday-Thursday. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests by ensuring the dining area is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming. You will assist with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining food safety standards while creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and within safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and serving stations throughout the breakfast service.
- Set up and break down the breakfast buffet or service area efficiently.
- Operate POS systems for any necessary transactions or guest requests.
- Communicate effectively with guests to ensure their needs are met promptly.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling while adhering to food safety protocols.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food offerings.
Skills
- Proficient in food handling and safety practices.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or OpenTable is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to perform meal preparation tasks including food cutting and cooking techniques.
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
