What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paper Industry Press Operators (Flexographic) position at Crane Consumables?
Crane Consumables is a local, family-owned manufacturer of bar code, pricing and packaging labels. We're large enough to offer a full benefit package, but small enough you'll never be just a number. We are in need of positive, hard-working individuals who are reliable and enjoy hands-on work.
We work in the paper industry, which is free of harsh chemicals and coolants. We strive to keep a clean, safe facility, doing weekly audits to ensure it stays as such.
We look for candidates with a consistent work history and career progression in past jobs. Learning to run a flexographic press can take 30-90 days, and provides a skilled career pathway for potential operators. In addition to running the press, operators learn to change over tooling, interface with enterprise software, and troubleshoot potential production problems. If you have mechanical aptitude and initiative, we can train you!
