SUMMARY
Under general supervision, observes, coaches, and mentors staff to improve and update teaching methods and styles; provides professional development to meet group and individual needs.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide on-site coaching and support to instructional staff in classroom strategies, classroom management, and lesson planning.
- Design and deliver site-based and district-wide professional development, including training on new instructional strategies, assessments, curriculum resources, and staff development initiatives.
- Implement the Coaching Cycle to support all site teachers in continuous instructional improvement.
- Oversee the coordination, preparation, distribution, and administration of assessments, including AZELLA, AASA, Crane Benchmarks and Formatives, and MAP.
- Analyze student data, disseminate findings, and collaborate with staff to develop targeted reteaching plans as needed.
- Monitor student progress and support data-driven instructional decisions.
- Serve as a mentor and coach for new teachers, fostering professional growth and development.
- Facilitate grade-level collaboration to enhance instructional alignment and student learning outcomes.
- Support school and district goals
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Arizona teaching certification required.
- Five (5) years of successful teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with administrators, district leaders, and teachers at the school level.

- Plans and presents training sessions for instructional staff including, but not limited to, preparation in the use of new teaching, testing materials and instructional strategies, staff development classes and site-specific trainings.
- Coordinates assessment preparation, distribution and administration. Gathers data; disseminates information and facilitates plans for re-teaching, as necessary.
- Monitors student progress.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must possess an Arizona State Teaching certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in standard office and classroom environments.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have teaching experience with a minimum rating of "Effective" based on the district-approved teacher evaluation instrument.
