Crane Renovation Group, a multi-site construction and renovation company, seeks a highly motivated, Financial Analyst with strong analytical and accounting skills. This position will report to the FP&A Manager.
Key Priorities and Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements and prepare detailed reports on profitability, cost structures, and revenue trends.
- Develop financial models to support business decision-making and operational improvements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy in financial projections.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Work closely with company leaders to track job costs, margins, and overall financial performance.
- Evaluate and improve financial processes related to materials procurement, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
- Work with various internal teams (e.g. accounts receivable/payable, purchasing) to ensure financial stability.
- Provide support for financial audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with leadership to create strategic financial plans that align with company objectives.
- Research industry trends, competitor analysis, and economic conditions affecting the construction market.
Key Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in financial analysis, construction industry experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with JDE and Planful is desired.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with job costing, margin analysis, and budget forecasting preferred.
