The company provides all types of maintenance and repair, including painting, roofing, carpentry, siding, and fire restoration. The company’s major customers include REITs and other well established owners of multi-family housing developments. We are seeking a General Manager, to be based in Atlanta, GA. This position will report to the Vice President of Operations. Purpose: The purpose of the General Manager is to lead the year-over-year profitable growth of the business through exceptional management of the following areas:
Creating and maintaining budgets | Driving growth in profitable sales | Optimizing profitable revenue recognition | Controlling costs |
Risk management | Resource allocation | Effective communication |
Training and performance management | Business cash flow management
Key Performance Indicators:
- Revenue – Actual/Budget, YoY growth
- Bookings – Actual/Budget, YoY growth
- Gross Margin - Actual/Budget, YoY Growth
- SGA - Actual/Budget
- EBITDA - Actual/Budget
- DSO
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role, required
- Minimum three years’ experience with bookkeeping accountability, preferably JD Edwards or other ERP
- High-level communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced education and/or related certification(s), a plus
- Advanced computer/technology skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Precise and articulate written and verbal communication; ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of audiences
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate needs of the business
- Ability to travel 20% of time
