This is a unique opportunity without all of the pressure and chaos of a traditional restaurant. Cranston Country Club is an 18-hole golf course offering a full bar, Seasonal Grill, and Banquet facility. We host a variety of events, including weddings, golf tournaments, school functions, fundraisers, family parties, and much more. As a primarily Banquet Facility, we offer an environment where you can focus on creating exceptional food for a variety of special events in a more relaxed, yet high-quality setting.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Banquet Chef to join our culinary team! In this role, you will oversee the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes for our events, ensuring an exceptional experience for all our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all banquet meals for large events, weddings, corporate functions, and other special occasions.
- Lead and manage the kitchen team during events, ensuring timely service.
- Create innovative and seasonal banquet menus, working with clients and event planners to customize offerings based on dietary needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular physical inventories of food supplies to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Accept and store daily deliveries, ensuring proper storage practices.
- Schedule kitchen staff based on event needs and labor requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all state and local health and safety regulations.
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning and organization of the kitchen to maintain top-level cleanliness.
- Always maintain the highest standards of food quality and sanitation.
Requirements:
- Culinary management experience preferred.
