We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests by preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items for banquets and catered events according to established recipes and standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service during events.
- Work as a team to get everything done
- Take direction from the Executive Chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards, focusing on presentation and taste.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience in banquet or catering settings, with a strong understanding of food service management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control processes to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and methods, with a passion for culinary arts.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
