Our guides set the tone for adventure, ensuring that every guest has a safe, exhilarating, and educational experience. With a mix of humor, storytelling, and expert safety knowledge, you’ll take visitors on a journey through Oregon’s breathtaking landscapes while managing risks, assisting with gear, and making every moment unforgettable.
What You’ll Do
- Be the Ultimate Guide – Lead zipline tours with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong sense of compassion and adventure.
- Ensure Safety First – Conduct pre-tour safety orientations, outfit guests with proper gear, and maintain a keen awareness of safety at all times.
- Educate & Entertain – Share knowledge about local history, wildlife, ecology, and geology while keeping guests engaged.
- Operate Equipment & Transport Guests – Drive UTVs to the ground school area and ensure all gear is in top condition.
- Perform Course Rescues – Be ready to respond to emergencies and assist guests if needed.
- Maintain Communication – Use company radios to stay connected with the team.
- Encourage Engagement – Capture guest photos, promote social media sharing, and recommend souvenirs to enhance the experience.
- Be a Team Player – Assist in maintaining site cleanliness and supporting fellow guides in daily operations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 18 years old by June 30 of the season you’re applying for.
- Pass a background check
- Complete & pass our Guide School (ASTM-compliant; fees apply).
- Hold a valid First Aid & CPR certification before your first day.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and variable shifts.
- Comfortable in high-adrenaline situations, capable of making quick decisions under pressure.
Preferred but Not Required:
- Prior experience in guiding, outdoor recreation, sports, education, high ropes courses, or ziplining.
- Background in tourism, recreation, or a related field.
- Multilingual skills are a plus!
What You Need to Know
- The season runs from April through October. Exceptions may be made for full-time students.
- Guide Training Courses are held in spring—check with our office for exact dates.
- Monthly skill assessments are required.
- Housing and transportation are not provided—plan accordingly.
- Uniforms & Gear: PPE (harness, helmet, radios) provided. Staff shirts included at no cost.
- Professional appearance and excellent hygiene are required.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
