Job Overview
Crawford County District Court is now accepting applications for a DWI Court Case Manager. The position duties will include but not limited to, organizing team meetings and preparing memos prior to court sessions, scheduling one on one visits with participants; administering risk/needs assessments and clinical assessments to potential participants, and teaching a Criminal Cognitive Behavior or Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) class to participants. Applicants must have a Bachelors in Social Work (BSW). Pay is dependent upon experience. Benefits offered by the City of Van Buren, Arkansas.

Duties
- Oversee case management processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with social services, including child welfare and behavioral health agencies, to address the needs of individuals involved in court proceedings.
- Implement crisis management strategies to effectively handle sensitive situations involving court participants.
- Facilitate communication between judges, attorneys, and other stakeholders to promote efficient case processing.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage with individuals in crisis or those requiring addiction counseling.
- Manage programs related to Section 8 housing assistance and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on crisis intervention techniques and updates on legal procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
- Proven experience in supervising teams within a legal or social services environment.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling methods and crisis intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Proficiency in case management software and other relevant technology.
