Certified Medical Assistant (CMA): Under direct supervision of the physician, assists in patient care as delegated by the physician. Performs clerical duties, phlebotomy, simple laboratory functions, and assists in direct patient care.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Under direct supervision, assists in carrying out the phases of the nursing process as appropriately delegated by the Registered Nurse/Provider. Provides nursing care to assigned patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standards within the clinic. Is accountable for assigned patients, demonstrates understanding of nursing and its issues and is an advocate for patient/families and nursing.
Registered Nurse (RN): Under limited supervision, provides medical support to assigned patients by utilizing the nursing process and meeting the established standards within the clinic. Is accountable for assigned patients, demonstrates understanding of nursing and its issues and is an advocate for patient/families and nursing.
