Accounts Payable Specialist - Deland, FL
Salary: $21 - $24/hr & Bonus!
Schedule: Full-time, in office Monday through Friday 8–4:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable position is primarily responsible for proper payment of all invoices. This is to include proper coding into the accounting system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Verify pricing and process/batch vendor payables Monthly monitoring of aged open PO’s for payments, close as needed

- Monthly vendor statements ensuring all past due and credits owed are processed timely Prep AP according to requirements and enter ACH check #'s Process/Pay Credit Card Statements – American Express, Home Depot, Wells Fargo. Fuel Card Builder trend duties as assigned Performs other work-related duties as required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Self-starting, highly motivated and goal oriented Attention to detail Very organized with a systematic approach to tasks to achieve accuracy and efficiency Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse personalities Professionally and technically competent Quick, sharp, confident, assertive, ethical and ambitious Analytical with the ability to examine issues from multiple viewpoints EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Accounting and accounting software background. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel skills required. Office Support Experience. Knowledge of construction field and products a plus.
