Job Description
We are seeking a driven and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to learn how to manage cases, communicate effectively with clients, and develop litigation skills in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has a fire in the belly—someone eager to learn, take initiative, and quickly gain the ability to run a case with confidence.
Responsibilities: Manage discovery, including working with and overseeing paralegals Take and defend depositions Attend and argue hearings (nothing mission-critical) Communicate with clients and develop strong attorney-client relationships Work closely with experienced attorneys to learn case strategy and litigation best practices Assist with drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses Participate in mediations and negotiations Qualifications: Must be admitted to the Florida Bar 0–3 years of litigation experience (plaintiff's property insurance experience is a plus, but not required) Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, particularly in client interaction Ability to take initiative and grow into running cases independently Benefits: $80-110k base salary - flexible Simple Plan Matching Fully Paid Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Eligible for Year-End Bonus Schedule: In-Office Position Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
