Enrolled Agent & or CPA
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy
- Utilize technical accounting knowledge to identify potential deductions and credits
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related questions
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Use accounting software, such as QuickBooks and Drake, to input and analyze financial data
- Correspond with IRS to handle tax notices and resolve tax issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues they may have
- Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on tax preparation
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks. Zero and Drake
- Ability to analyze financial records and identify potential deductions and credits
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
- Enrolled agent license or CPA license required
Pay & Benefits: Competitive Pay Based on Experience Medical and 401k Career Growth Opportunities Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and reconcile expenses and balance sheet data
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger
- Prepare journal entries to be posted to GL
- Monthly/Quarterly Variance analysis
- Create departmental reports to compare to budget pacing
- Document accounting process and internal control
- Assist in month end and quarterly reporting
- Assist with the preparation and filing of local, state, and federal taxes

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- EA certification, CPA certification desirable
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial accounting or related roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience in public accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
