What You’ll Do as an Enrolled Agent :
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare and submit precise tax returns for both individuals and businesses.
- Review financial documents, such as income statements and balance sheets, to verify accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Manage and analyze financial data, including preparing journal entries and reconciling expenses.
- Assist with month-end and quarterly reporting, variance analysis, and the preparation of local, state, and federal tax filings.
- Build strong relationships with clients by effectively communicating to gather necessary information and address tax-related inquiries.
- Handle correspondence with the IRS, resolving tax issues and effectively addressing notices.
