The Fireplace Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs fireplaces in new and existing homes. This role ensures units function properly, provides excellent customer service, and upholds the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and integrity.
They will report to the office daily, but after approximately 30 days, once they have earned the trust of the team, they can take the company van home and come in only for supplies as needed.

About The Role
The Fireplace Service Technician installs, maintains, and repairs fireplaces in new and existing homes. This role ensures units function properly, provides excellent customer service, and upholds the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and integrity.

What You Will Do
- Conduct pre-settlement inspections for new home fireplaces, installing logs, testing functionality, and ensuring they are move-in ready
- Perform service calls for existing units, troubleshooting, repairing, and cleaning gas or electric fireplaces, especially before fire season
- Provide preventative maintenance and customer education on fireplace operation
- Diagnose and repair gas and LP components, electrical switches, fans, and remote controls
- Assist in expanding services, including outdoor kitchens
- Communicate with customers, team members, and service coordinators
- Two or more years of experience in a trade or construction-related field, such as general contracting or HVAC
- Understanding of gas or LP components, electrical systems, and chimney roofing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more
- Valid driver’s license and strong communication skills
- Dedicated, positive, and professional attitude
