About The Role
We are seeking a Low Voltage Lead Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including security, fire alarms, A/V, telecommunications, and networking. You will lead installations in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Install and configure low-voltage systems from start to finish, including setup, programming, testing, and commissioning. Receive system-specific training upon onboarding (all travel expenses covered). Conduct site walkthroughs, attend project meetings (onsite or via Teams/Zoom), and collaborate with stakeholders. Use Contractor Foreman App to access project documents, schedules, and upload deliverables. Lead full-service installations, including: Structured Cabling Access Control & Video Surveillance Intrusion Systems & Fire Alarms Nurse Call & Patient Security Paging, Intercom, Sound Masking, A/V Train and supervise junior technicians. Ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, and project specifications. Required Qualifications 3 years of experience in Structured Cabling, Access Control, Video Surveillance, or Nurse Call. 1 year of experience installing Fire Alarm Systems. Ability to read blueprints and cabling pathways per BICSI standards. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Willingness to travel as needed (expenses covered). Low Voltage (TOPS) License is a plus or willingness to obtain.
