Role Overview
We're hiring a Managing Attorney to lead our growing personal injury law firm. This role is for an experienced attorney with proven skills in managing teams, making strategic decisions, and guiding legal strategies. This isnt just supervisoryour ideal candidate excels in both big-picture planning and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities : Leadership & Team Development Lead a team of attorneys, set performance goals, and foster collaboration. Mentor attorneys to align with the firm's vision. Allocate cases and resources to boost productivity and client success. Strategic Planning Work with firm leadership on growth initiatives. Contribute to long- and short-term planning. Address operational and legal challenges as they arise. Legal Oversight Ensure top-quality legal services. Oversee complex cases, supporting attorneys for successful outcomes. Enforce policies for consistency and compliance. Client Relations & Business Development Build and maintain client relationships. Represent the firm at events to strengthen our brand.
Qualifications : JD degree and licensed to practice in New York. 5 years practicing law, with at least 2 years managing attorneys. Background in personal injury law. Must be willing to work onsite in the city 5 days a week. Skilled in strategic and hands-on problem-solving. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Salary : $125,000 - $200,000
