National Account Director - Hybrid (Advertising/Marketing Industry)

Salary: $100 - $115k Base Bonus/Commission, OTE ~$150k /Year

Responsibilities: Own and manage assigned accounts, ensuring contract fulfillment and renewal. Oversee all aspects of the business relationship with clients. Negotiate and secure annual renewals for the account portfolio. Provide strategic leadership for national account portfolio. Act as the lead agency liaison, fostering strong client relationships. Collaborate with creative, digital, and production teams for monthly campaign ideas. Sell agency services to franchisee locations (if applicable). Participate in daily/weekly standups with NAM to discuss priorities and concerns. Prepare for client retention by reviewing campaign performance and insights. Conduct monthly planning meetings and performance analysis. Provide strategic guidance on channels, reach, frequency, and offers. Review campaign strategies, creative, routes, and finalization. Recommend optimal selections for direct mail campaigns. Collaborate with the Campaign Intelligence Team on monthly performance analysis. Maintain an annual learning agenda and optimize account programs continuously. Ensure program alignment with budget and business goals.
Franchisee Accounts
Follow up on inbound leads within 12 hours. Follow up daily until the opportunity is vetted (minimum 12 contacts). Dedicate at least 35% of time to outbound prospecting. Review and update the inactive franchisee list monthly. Maintain a weekly call log with a mix of existing and inactive opportunities (15 calls minimum). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. 7 years of agency client management experience. Strong leadership skills to delegate tasks and manage National Account Managers.
