As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, your role will be pivotal in supporting our family owned pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of prescriptions. Candidates should have experience operating in a high-volume environment, with over 1000 scripts processed daily. We welcome applicants with proficiency in any pharmacy software and a strong aptitude for learning new processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: You will accurately and efficiently process prescription orders, working closely with licensed pharmacists. You will prepare and dispense medications, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging in compliance with pharmacy regulations. You will maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold safety and regulatory standards. Contribute to inventory management, including receiving and restocking medications. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and offering valuable health and medication-related guidance. Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance and patient well-being. Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth daily operations and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) in the state of South Carolina or eligibility for certification. Previous experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting Proficiency with pharmacy software Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and work efficiently. Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends, in alignment with our pharmacy's operational needs.
