Government Business Development Salesperson
Compensation: $130-150k base plus commission
Location: Remote with 70% travel around the US
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Salesperson to join their Government Business Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in selling to government agencies and a deep understanding of public sector procurement processes.
Our client provides electronic health record (EHR) software solutions tailored for organizations that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Their cloud-based platform helps service providers manage documentation, reporting, and communication while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the public sector. Identify and qualify sales opportunities. Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations. Negotiate and close contracts. Manage customer accounts and ensure satisfaction. Stay up-to-date on the latest public sector trends and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the public sector. Strong understanding of the public sector procurement process; NASPO ValuePoint experience is preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
