Salary
This is a fully commissioned position with a draw against commission of $70-$80K, uncapped commission, $100-$200K total comp. Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Territory Business Manager to oversee and grow a territory in Nashville and surrounding areas. This position involves primarily servicing and maintaining existing accounts while enhancing customer relationships, re-engaging lapsed clients, and introducing new product offerings. This is a remote role when not traveling, with regular travel throughout the territory 3-4 days per week.
Job Responsibilities: Manage and grow relationships with flooring contractors and dealers, including both commercial and residential contractors, multifamily builders, and others. Service existing accounts, re-engage customers who have not purchased recently, and introduce new product offerings. Schedule and conduct meetings with clients ahead of travel within the territory. Drive throughout the territory to maintain and expand customer relationships. Use 1-2 home-office days weekly to schedule appointments, enter sales orders, and respond to inquiries. Stay up-to-date on company products, promotions, and industry trends to act as a trusted advisor to clients. Consistently meet and exceed sales goals through proactive account management.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of outside sales experience. Experience in the flooring or floor covering industry is preferred. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Strong sales skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
