Citrix / VDI Engineer Role in the DMV Area
TS / SCI Clearance Required
Salary : $150,000-$180,000
Location : Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA Key Responsibilities :
- Engineering Solutions :
Engineer, design, test, implement, maintain, and secure complex Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler solutions in a large Enterprise environment.
Interact with Government stakeholders regarding technical considerations for problems, issues, or conflicts.
Engineer, implement, mitigate, monitor, and tune the VDI environment and management software to obtain Authorize To Operate (ATO) for new VDI solutions.
Manage Citrix products including Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, and Provisioning.
Utilize scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for operational and execution tasks.
Provide Tier 3 and above support as needed, including troubleshooting, problem resolution support, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Prepare and maintain documentation for VDI solutions, processes, and procedures related to engineering projects.
Requirements :
Engineering work related to the design, development, maintenance, and testing of infrastructure for desktop application packaging and deployment technologies.
Proficiency in Citrix XenApp, AppLayering, and / or Enterprise Layer Manager (ELM).
Expertise in the Windows 10 area, including Standard Operating Environment (SOE), imaging, and evergreen processes.
