Position Overview:
The Daycare Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a daycare facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role involves managing staff, maintaining compliance with local regulations, developing programs that foster child development, and engaging with parents to ensure a positive experience for children and families.
Responsibilities:
- Lead school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans. Assists with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, which includes coaching, communicating, and interpreting standards with teachers
- Foster strong relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication (meetings, newsletters, events, etc.)
- Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards, while promoting a positive partnership within the surrounding community
- Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day in an educational, caring, and safe environment
- Recruit, select, and retain quality staff
- Handle enrollment process including managing waitlists, tours, and registration
- Work to grow enrollments through networking and strategic community partnerships
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
- 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Pay: $12.04 - $17.00 per hour
