Position Summary
At Crazy Mountain Ranch, The Golf Course Maintenance Operator reports to the Director of Golf Course and Grounds/ Assistant Superintendents while performing various golf course maintenance tasks. The Equipment Operator will be directly involved in a variety of maintenance assignments associated with the care of golf course greens, tees, fairways, and other golf course features and areas. Maintenance operations will be performed utilizing a vast assortment of specialized equipment, machinery, utility vehicles, and hand tools.
Summer Season April 15th, 2025 - Nov 1st, 2025
Job Duties
- Operate various types of mowing equipment on the golf course in the maintenance of turfgrass areas.
- Equipment operation includes self-propelled walk mowers, trimmers, utility vehicles, lightweight mowing equipment, and other specialty machinery utilized in golf course maintenance work.
- The Equipment Operator contributes to the maintenance operation by performing other labor tasks with various hand tools and specialized golf course power equipment.
- The Equipment Operator will also be involved with several types of construction-related projects throughout the golf course.
- Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment daily while also ensuring the proper cleaning and care procedures.
- Reports equipment problems to the Equipment Manager.
- Participates in cleaning maintenance areas and operates within the safety training procedures.

Competencies & Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions environments.
- Knowledge of safe and efficient mechanical operation of equipment and motorized vehicles.
- Possess an ability to follow written and oral directions.
- Previous experience working in the maintenance of a golf course, grounds, or similar outdoor areas.
- Desire to work in a positive, upbeat environment while supporting your fellow colleagues.
