Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Administrator to assist our Project Manager in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various aspects of project management, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and regulations.
Duties:
- Assist the Project Manager in managing and coordinating all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Set up jobs in our accounting system and help get contracts signed.
- Help with the submittal process, including submitting RFIs, Proposed Change Orders, and Change Orders.
- Assist in submitting pay requests and collecting and combining O&M manuals.
- Oversee project coordination among subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Review blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and documentation.
- Implement effective time management strategies to optimize project efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a project support role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and tools such as ProCore.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and project coordination.
- Proficient in using construction management software for project tracking and reporting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
