We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and materials handling within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of goods.
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers and forklifts to move materials safely and efficiently.
- Build and package products according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Perform picking and packing duties for order fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in orders processed.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining organized storage areas.
- Utilize AS400 or similar inventory management systems for tracking product movement and inventory status.
- Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols while operating heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred, with a strong understanding of inventory management practices.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
- Familiarity with cherry pickers or similar heavy equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse duties.
