What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position at Watson Distributing?
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Load and unload cargo from the delivery vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatch team
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages with care and professionalism
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and obtain necessary signatures as required
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to perform lifting approximately 30 pounds
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Ability to work Independently
