This role is a full-time position and requires the chosen candidate to be onsite.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven team player to join our team as a Client Liaison and play a crucial role in making the "Gotcha Day" experience unforgettable for our clients. In this role, you will be the bridge between our adorable puppies and their excited new families, ensuring a seamless transition and a joyful start to their lifelong journey together.
- Correspond with clients via email and over the phone.
- Greet clients on their Puppy Gotcha Day with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a positive and memorable first impression.
- Facilitate the adoption process by guiding clients through necessary paperwork, explaining policies, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Prepare and present puppies to their new families, ensuring a smooth handover that minimizes stress for both the puppy and the owners.
- Assemble and provide each new family with a comprehensive "go-home" bag containing essentials such as food, important paperwork, puppy birth announcements, and our welcome booklet.
- Provide accurate information about the puppy's history, health records, and care routines to ensure the client is well-informed and confident in their new role as a pet parent.
- Share guidance, offering support and advice to help new owners create a nurturing environment for their puppy's growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Puppy Care Team to maintain a deep understanding of each puppy's unique characteristics and needs, ensuring an individualized approach to client interactions.
- Schedule drop-offs and pick-ups with clients and guardians, ensuring smooth transitions and clear communication.
- Maintain meticulous records of puppy handovers, client interactions, and follow-up communications to support ongoing customer relationships.
- Act as a brand ambassador, reflecting the company's values and commitment to responsible breeding and pet care.
- Take payments using our company POS system.
- Light driving may be required.
- Passion for dogs and a strong understanding of dog behavior, care, and training.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients and communicate effectively.
- Upbeat, friendly, and customer-focused attitude that reflects genuine enthusiasm for creating positive client experiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple puppy handovers and ensure all necessary items are included in the go-home bags.
- Ability to convey accurate and comprehensive information to clients.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in emotional situations, demonstrating empathy and understanding—many of our clients are first-time dog owners due to severe allergies.
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
- Previous experience in customer service, client relations, or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic record-keeping and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work alternating Saturdays.
