As a fast-growing company, we are looking for a dedicated Director of Operations/Manager to oversee and optimize our operational workflows, ensuring seamless client fulfillment and production processes.
Role OverviewThe Operations Director/Manager will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s operations, including production, logistics, quality control, and process optimization. This position will play a critical role in driving efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring client satisfaction.
This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, production staff, and the leadership team, to align operations with Crease Group's strategic goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Logistics Oversight:
- Manage day-to-day client success and production activities, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee logistics for both domestic and international shipments, optimizing cost and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the China office and factory partners to streamline the sampling and production process.
Process Management:
- Implement and refine SOPs for production, quality control, and client fulfillment.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success.
Quality Control:
- Lead the quality control process, ensuring products meet technical specifications and client expectations.
- Establish a robust system for documenting and addressing QC issues.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with the showroom coordinator, production manager, and account managers to ensure smooth workflows.
Budgeting & Reporting:
- Manage operational budgets, including cost tracking for production, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Provide regular updates to the CEO on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Client-Centric Operations:
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with account managers regarding production and logistics updates.
- Proactively address client concerns and implement solutions to enhance satisfaction.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in apparel, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing production workflows and logistics across international teams.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in developing and implementing operational processes and KPIs.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Slack, ClickUp, and Excel for communication and project management.
- Familiarity with quality control systems and standards in the manufacturing industry.
