What are the responsibilities and job description for the Script Writer position at Creatably?
We are on a quest to create the greatest ads on the internet, and we need some word slingers to help us out. We are looking for wordsmiths who are fun, funny and fully functional. You know how to make people laugh and have a good idea how to explain something in plain language.
You'll join an elite team of creatives to brainstorm, concept, and write long-form ads that drive massive growth. Honestly, I love this team, and you have to be a unique, talented, and generous writer to join our group.
Responsibilities
You'll join us as we meet and brainstorm with Clients. You will write your own 3-5 minute ads in screenplay format following the Creatably framework to present to clients alongside other Creatably writers. Once a script is chosen you will collaborate alongside other writers to help punch up the script that has been chosen.
You will also contribute to performance copy-writing tasks such as writing headlines, ad copy, and experimental formats like UGC and other short forms.
Qualifications
Excellent writing skills (obvs.) - writing samples are a plus.
A sense of humor about the world and about yourself.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field that requires writing is nice, but you know, if you can write, you can write.
Willingness to follow a framework but a resistance to formula.
A willing disregard for Grammarly (but you make less mistakes than I did posting this job).
Advertising experience a plus.
BONUS: you have examples of work you have written that has been produced.
