Job Title: Clinical Director
Department: Outpatient Mental Helath Clinic (OMHC)
Reports to: Executive Program Director
SUMMARY
The Clinical Director works in the office 20 hours per week, completing 3 hours of clinical supervision for all LMSW'S and clinically overseeing and directing the OMHC's clinical and therapuetic services for all OMHC clients while ensuring COMAR regulations are followed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and train all therapists
- Completes 3 hours of clinical supervision with all LMSW'S
- Document all clinical supervision, providing a copy to the supervisee and storing a copy for the agency in supervion binder
- Ensure that all OMHC clients are receiving the appropriate services, according to their goals and needs as outlined in their Treatment Plan
- Manage, update and organize corresponding databases for the clinic as needed
- Ensure all treatment plans are completed and receive needed signatures
- Lead, educate, monitor, support, supervise all OMHC staff.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Review, approve and/or decline all therapist clinical documentation including contact notes, timesheets, client charts/binders, assessments, therapists collaborations and discharge plans. Timesheets and contact notes must be approved/declined by every Tuesday and prior to each payroll deadline.
- Complete chart audits and ensure necessary corrections.
- Assist leadership with employee relations and performance management issues through effective communication, coaching, and development.
- Some additional responsibilities may include assisting with the following: interviewing, hiring, and training/orienting employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Enforce company policies, CARF Standards and COMAR regulatory requirements.
- Complete at least 5 clinical billiables per week.
REQUIREMENTS and/or EXPERIENCE:
- LCSW-C licensure
- Board approved supervsior with the MD Board of Social Work
