Under the general direction of the Benefits Director, the Senior Benefits Analyst is responsible for managing the administration of our US benefit programs. This is a hybrid role that will require being in the Boston office, 3 days per week.Responsibilities
- Review an analyze Workday Benefit Processing Events.
- Assist employees, managers and HR colleagues in resolving various coverage and claim issues working with our vendors, broker and internal Workday Support Team.
- Provide new hires with explanations of benefits and instructing them on enrollment and fulfillment procedures.
- Provide ongoing support for the HR colleagues.
- Play a pivotal role in the project management of the US Open Enrollment.
- Assist in developing Employee Benefit Communication material.
- Responsible for managing the Benefit Plan Funding for our Medical, Dental, 401(k) and Life & Disability Programs.
- Work with our corporate accounting team to perform month end reconciliation.
- Ensuring that the company’s benefits policies are compliant with the set laws and regulations.
- Plan, coordinate and execute projects across the organization including tracking to project plans and reporting on status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Proactively support the regional HR team leaders, payroll partners and site HR colleagues to develop necessary reporting and drive improved usage and data analytics as it relates to benefits.
- Develop communication tools to education employees on benefit options and utilize the Intranet site and other communication vehicles.
- Review and Resolve Benefits Workday Integration Issues as needed.
- Other duties as identified.
Qualifications
- Must have solid Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. Workday experience preferred.
- 4-year degree in HR or relevant coursework.
- Must be detailed oriented, precise and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must have clear understanding of compliance requirements and federal and state regulations pertaining to programs like ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, Medicare, and Social Security.
