WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a creative, resourceful and proactive get-things-doner to join our small team. As Creativ’s Social Media Coordinator, this person will lead the day to day social media activities of an assigned list of our amazing clients and help our team exceed their expectations through our work as local marketers for their business. This role requires both content creation and project management skills, as this person will be the glue between planning and execution.

YOUR ROLE AS SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

Your role is to take the business objectives of your assigned clients and work along with our team to create a game plan for how to make them happen through social media. You will drive content creation, contribute to monthly planning calendars and oversee day-to-day social activities. As part of a small, collaborative team, you will always look out for ways to improve communication on behalf of and with our clients so we can all better serve them and exceed their expectations.



WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Create content for, manage, and contribute creative ideas to monthly content calendars for assigned clients’ social media accounts
  • Communicate with clients to about monthly content needs, share calendars, plan visits
  • Oversee content creation, scheduling, and publishing across various client accounts
  • Schedule monthly team meetings or calls with clients
  • Write copy and ensure all posts are written in the correct brand tone, free of grammatical or factual errors, are optimized for channel engagement, and are successfully published daily for all assigned properties
  • Proactively community manage and monitor assigned clients’ social media activities for opportunities to consistently engage with and grow their community 
  • Respond to tagged posts, share stories, reply to comments, interact with other accounts for each client daily, across all platforms
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and engagement across all social platforms
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to improve brand awareness and community engagement for assigned client accounts
  • Identify trends and insights and communicate them with the team to inform clients
  • Create written monthly reports that analyze and provide insights into social media activities for your assigned clients
  • Plan and execute paid social media campaigns for clients, including assisting with budgeting and targeting strategies.
  • Stay updated on platform advertising policies and best practices.

THINGS YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN

  • Managing and growing social media communities for businesses
  • Understanding the nuances of brand voice and creating content for various audiences
  • Managing multiple properties in a fast paced environment
  • Thinking on your feet and having the ability to adapt and pivot when necessary
  • Understanding the nuances of different social media platforms and how they connect to a brand’s overall digital presence 
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Taking initiative in your work and independently managing your time and systems to set yourself up for success 
  • Being part of a resourceful team that has each other’s backs
  • Staying on top of industry trends, changes to the digital landscape, pop culture and what’s trending in our communities because being in the know helps you relate to various audiences you manage
  • Instagram, TikTok, Facebook Business Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Docs




This full-time role is not remote and based in Charleston, SC. Must be able to travel regionally.

Pay commensurate with experience.
