THE ROLE
As our Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and executing Indigo Road’s social media presence across various platforms in multiple brand voices and their accounts by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, monitoring audience engagement and staying up to date on social media trends.
You’ll be an essential part of our Social Media team and will support our Director of Social Media. This is a unique opportunity to join us in making a serious impact in the food & beverage industry!
What You'll Do:
- Actively monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all platforms to foster a welcoming and inclusive community.
- Build relationships with new to brand audience, fans/followers of Indigo Road, and influencers, transforming them into passionate brand advocates.
- Address questions, concerns, and feedback with empathy, professionalism, and a touch of Indigo Road’s signature tone.
- Partner with the Director of Social Media to ensure seamless engagement across all touchpoints.
- Manage Dropbox to ensure all Marketing photographs are organized and easily accessible. Prioritize the management and organization of Dropbox to streamline Marketing efforts.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure all events are accurately represented.
- Work with Director of Social Media and on-site teams to develop content for marketing newsletters, social media, and websites for current promotions and activations.
- Attend events to capture photos and content that highlight the IRHG brands and the experiences we offer.
- Develop creative and compelling captions for our social media posts.
- Conduct regular audits of the IRHG social media accounts to ensure all information is up-to-date. Identify team members who need updated bios or headshots and coordinate with them to gather the necessary information.
- Plan, create, and publish a mix of content—from polished campaigns to lo-fi, in-the-moment posts and user-generated content (UGC)—that sparks conversations and builds brand appreciation.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, leveraging them creatively to keep the Indigo Road’s brands relevant and exciting.
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to align content with larger campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and maximum impact.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance to identify what resonates with the audience and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Share community insights and engagement metrics with cross-functional teams to inform decisions and amplify results.
- Work closely with internal teams creative, brand comms, and impact – and external agencies to bring campaigns and strategies to life.
- Partner with influencers and key brand advocates to amplify Indigo Road’s message and increase reach.
- Ideate and execute innovative ways to build an engaged, passionate, and active social media community.
- Active participation in monthly social champ team call – either via Teams or one-on-one calls with the Director of Social Media and/or Marketing Manager.
Who You Are:
- 1 years of experience in social media, hospitality or a similar role
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn) and their unique features, algorithms, and audiences.
- Proven ability to create engaging and creative social content, both polished and playful.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt to Indigo Road’s bold, playful tone of voice as well as the voices for multiple brands.
- Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- The ability to travel independently as needed for site visits and content creation.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies based on data.

Flexibility: Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation. In general, you can anticipate working 50 to 55 hours a week.
