Position : RSP / Special Education Provider / Teacher (Resource Specialist Program)
As an RSP / Special Education Provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality instruction and support to students with disabilities. This position involves collaborating with CACS and SFUSD teams to provide innovative, student-centered learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development : Design and implement an arts-integrated, project-based curriculum that aligns with California State Standards and supports the diverse needs of all students, including English Language Learners (ELLs) and students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaboration : Partner with grade-level colleagues, the Director of Arts Programming, and SFUSD specialists to create culturally relevant lessons integrating arts, technology, and other disciplines.
- Inclusive Environment : Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creativity, equity, and social justice.
- Assessment and Communication : Conduct formative and summative assessments, provide regular progress updates, and maintain open communication with families.
- Professional Development : Participate in training and workshops, including school-sponsored professional development and SFUSD initiatives.
- Events and Meetings : Attend school events such as Back to School Night, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and IEP / SST meetings to engage with the school community.
