eCommerce Copywriter
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented eCommerce Copywriter to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting compelling product descriptions, engaging ad copy, and optimizing content for our online storefronts. This role focuses on enhancing our eCommerce presence through persuasive writing and effective SEO strategies.
This is a hybrid, 4-month contract position in New York, NY requiring 3 days onsite per week.

- Create engaging and persuasive product descriptions for Amazon Storefront and other eCommerce platforms.
- Write compelling ad copy that drives traffic and conversions.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Conduct keyword research to optimize content for SEO, improving search visibility and ranking.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align copy with visual elements and overall campaign objectives.
- Stay updated on eCommerce trends and competitor strategies to inform copywriting approaches.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience in copywriting for eCommerce or online retail.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with Amazon Storefront is highly desirable.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
