Our client is seeking a Director of eCommerce Marketing to join their team! The Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's websiteone of the most valuable digital assets and a key driver of customer acquisition and revenue growth. This leader is responsible for optimizing every aspect of the eCommerce experience across desktop, mobile, tablet, and click-to-chat, ensuring seamless interactions that convert visitors into customers.
This role will be 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote in their Salt Lake City, UT office. They also will offer relocation if needed.
The Director of eCommerce Marketing will collaborate closely with customer acquisition teams, IT/Developers, UX Design, Analysts, and Senior Leadership, the Director provides strategic insights, wireframes, and user experience recommendations to enhance engagement and maximize conversions. Success in this role requires deep expertise in conversion optimization, usability, web analytics, marketing, and persuasive copywriting.
Operating within a testing-driven culture, this role directly influences business performance by continuously refining the digital experience. The Director is not just optimizing a websitethey are driving the future of online growth, ensuring the company remains a leader in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, recommend, and implement enhancements: Use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities that can increase revenue and improve overall customer experience. Prioritize efforts based on the highest impact opportunities.
- Drive thought leadership in conversion rate optimization: Develop and implement a strategy that aligns with and supports the broader customer acquisition goals.
- Make recommendations: Develop user flows, wireframes, and presentations to communicate strategy effectively.
- Manage testing roadmap and goals: Set and oversee testing objectives for each platform, device, and channel.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests: Conduct web optimization tests both in collaboration with Web Development and independently within the Marketing team.
- Achieve established goals: Work within a testing-centric environment to meet defined targets.
- Evaluate test profitability: Determine the success of each test and program by performing pre/post analyses.
- Collaborate with various teams: Work closely with SEO, Branding, PPC, Email, Product, Pricing, UX, and Call Center teams to ensure a consistent and optimized customer experience across all channels and platforms while supporting their business needs and interpreting campaign results.
- Organize and manage a team: Lead a team that meets and exceeds expectations in Marketing Optimization and Program Management.
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A graduate degree is a plus.
- 8 years of digital marketing experience is required.
- Experience with website optimization, website analytics, and both quantitative and qualitative research is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong data skills and management, including proficiency in quantitative tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and qualitative tools (e.g., Quantum Metric).
- Understanding and application of new technologies in marketing practices and programs.
- Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Complex problem-solving skills, judgment, critical thinking, creative thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and relationship-building with internal and external partners.
- Highly organized, accurate, timely, and capable of prioritizing tasks.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and report writing capabilities.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in managing and driving marketing products.

- Capability to juggle several projects simultaneously to ensure optimal channel effectiveness under challenging deadlines.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of industry trends and customer behaviors.
- Understanding of the principles and best practices of website design based on user behavior, with the ability to collaborate with the brand team to execute those designs.
