Position Overview
Our Professional Services client is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you'll lead the development and execution of email campaigns that engage our audience, strengthen customer relationships, and drive measurable business results. You'll play a key part in ensuring our communications are timely, relevant, and personalized through thoughtful list segmentation and performance optimization.
This is a full-time role, with options to work remotely if you live out of Charlotte, NC ( must be able to meet VP for meetings in NC) or work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite in Duluth GA) if you reside near the Atlanta, GA area.
We're seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and data-driven professional with hands-on experience in email marketing platforms and CRM tools. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of creating customer lists and customer journeys for specific audiences. You'll use best practices in deliverability, compliance, A/B testing, and audience engagement, along with a passion for continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends. This role requires handling confidential client or customer systems and proprietary data, making a commitment to data privacy and security essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and execute end-to-end email marketing campaigns, from concept and copywriting to deployment and analysis.
- Manage and segment email lists to ensure accurate targeting, personalization, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize engagement and conversion.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, design, send times, and calls-to-action to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to develop compelling, on-brand email content and layouts.
- Leverage CRM and marketing automation tools (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Marketo) to create workflows, track customer interactions, and deliver behavior-based campaigns.
- Apply email deliverability best practices, including list hygiene, authentication, and spam reduction strategies.
- Stay current on email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance strategy and execution.
- Integrate email marketing efforts with broader digital campaigns to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
- Ensure all email communications adhere to legal requirements and internal policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3 years of minimum experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
- Must be proficient in HubSpot and other CRM or marketing automation platforms (such as Salesforce, Marketo, or Klavio).
- Knowledge of HTML, email design principles, and responsive design best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a sharp attention to detail.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to drive improvements.
- Experience with A/B testing and other optimization techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Team player with a proactive mindset and a passion for growth and learning.
