Graphic Designer

Position Overview

Our client, a theater-centric non-profit, is looking for a full-time Graphic Designer to join their NY team! This is a hybrid role, and will be onsite 3-4 days per week at their NYC office.

Key Responsibilities

• Design / develop high-quality key art, including promotional banners, programs, and posters for both print and digital mediums
• Contribute conceptual ideas, and social media initiatives
• Collaborate with the Art Director and the communications team to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and overall visual direction
• Product compelling 360 campaigns for their events, including social campaigns, event banners, invitations, signage, etc.
• Stay up-to-date on design trends, and refine designs based on feedback from the creative team
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in design, with a portfolio that showcases strong key art promotional design work
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, color theory, and composition
• Experience with both print and digital design
• Familiarity with pre-press processes and requirements is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for theater, and the performing arts
