Our major tech client is looking for a Growth Marketing Operations Specialist to join their team for a 12 month freelance role. This is a hybrid role in Culver City, CA.

Summary

The Growth Marketing Operations Specialist plays a key role in enabling on-device communications and automated messaging for the company's media products and services. The team focuses on the development and execution of in-app messaging sent to millions of users globally across multiple services. We are seeking a self-motivated and curious individual who will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day operational workflows of growth marketing. They will work cross-functionally with various teams including growth marketing, product, and engineering to develop and launch multi-channel customer communications, ultimately driving awareness and engagement of the company's services and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • This position will work cross-functionally to develop and execute customer journeys for growth marketing acquisition and

engagement initiatives.

  • As the subject matter expert of customer journey orchestration, the ideal candidate can think strategically,

execute flawlessly, and effectively collaborate in a matrix organization.

  • Developing, testing, and deploying customer journeys. This involves assessing product and strategy objectives, platform

capabilities and data needs.

  • Collaborating and communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders given the complexities of global large-scale projects, ensuring that operational plans, deliverables and risks are properly addressed and aligned.
  • Monitoring campaign performance for operational integrity, and identifying and

communicating issues to internal teams.

  • Identifying key opportunities of improvement in campaign performance, operational efficiency and processes, and product

tooling.

  • Building a knowledge portal of best practices and playbooks that serve as a reference and training resource.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of lifecycle marketing experience building and launching acquisition and engagement initiatives
  • Experience with CRM or ESP platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget, Braze, Oracle Responsys
  • High aptitude for logical reasoning and critical thinking.
  • Experience in SQL preferred.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and organization to deliver quality projects in a timely manner
  • Innovator who is proactive, thoughtful and resourceful with a willingness to tackle ambiguity and roadblocks.
  • Ability to react calmly to curveballs, come up with contingency plans, make judgment calls and pivot as needed under

pressure in an evolving environment

  • Team player mentality with strong consideration for impact on team members
  • Effective communication skills in all mediums from slack and email to presentations.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
