What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at Creative Circle?
Our association client is looking for an Instructional Designer to support their team working 37.5 hours per week, with the potential to convert to full time. If converted to full time, employees will need to go onsite, either Tuesdays or Thursdays in Alexandria.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience designing and developing learning experiences within a Learning Management System (LMS).
Instructional Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop engaging instructional materials to support learning module creation and development
- Work with subject matter experts to prepare, analyze and develop learning materials
- Create content that aligns with organizational learning objectives
- Support ongoing user and administrative LMS tasks to promote optimized functionality
- Maintain materials and modules within the LMS to support LMS usage
Instructional Designer Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional instructional design experience; association or similar industry experience preferred
- Experience working within an LMS to create and maintain learning modules required; Articulate 360 a plus
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Exceptional design and multimedia skills and strong writing skills
- Professional communication skills
Salary : $40 - $50
