Marketing Automation Manager

Our bank client is looking for a marketing manager who specializes in lifecycle marketing to support their new fintech start up for a maternity leave! Candidates will also need copywriting and light graphic design skills.

This is an onsite opportunity, 40 hours per week in Mercer Island, Washington, starting the week of May 1st. This is a maternity leave coverage for approx. 4 months, however you will be helping build out this new role and this could convert to a direct hire for the right candidate.

In This Role You Will

• build out lifecycle marketing within the Customer.io platform
• establish an internal outline and execution for segmentation and analytics
• work with an external partner agency who handles paid media and advertising
• write copy on an as needed basis for emails, short blog posts, event/conference collateral, sales enablement content and other marketing collateral
• ensure content meets the financial industry's regulations by working with a compliance department to ensure content accuracy
• adjust designs as needed. This position will have access to graphic designers for presentation decks, however the client will expect you to be able to work within Adobe Creative Suite and Canva templates to make changes/ updates.
  
  

This is a hands-on opportunity. You will be working in a start up environment. There is a strategy in place, however the ideal candidate will be able to help the start up define and build out best practices for their small, internal, marketing team.

The Ideal Marketing Automation Manager Will Have

• 5 years of marketing and copy/ design experience
• email marketing experience
• experience working with professional services clients, a plus for experience in financial services or with a high net worth audience
• experience with Customer.io or similar marketing automation tools
