Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support our clients marketing team in various projects and initiatives in an 11-month, 40 hour per week contract role. This role is remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and project management, along with proficiency in Excel and Word. This role is essential in ensuring that marketing strategies are effectively implemented and continuously improved.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning and project management, along with proficiency in Excel and Word. This role is essential in ensuring that marketing strategies are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general marketing support and project management to the team
- Assistance with marketing campaign execution; generating and compiling marketing or sales campaign reporting
- Project managing an extensive scorecard of marketing deliverables and their production schedules, project milestones, team action items or tasks, or team progress reports
- Budget management and tracking of marketing activities associated with a partner marketing program
- Assistance in helping drive production of marketing collateral, which may include managing approvals and revisions for individual deliverables
- Authoring basic marketing editorial
- Managing a technical training and certification program
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in event planning, demand generation, content creation and budget management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint with strong analytical skills.
- Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
