General Summary:
Associate Engineers are typically entry level with less than one year of experience. This person is a good communicator and a person who can manage well when the client is in a pickle and really needs strong guidance. This person should be prompt and/or know the importance of communicating ETA's to clients. Most importantly, this person should be eager to learn while following prescribed procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer Help Desk phones
- Occasionally triage tickets & cover for Dispatcher
- Provide Level 1 phone support
- Check Backup Logs daily and update the tickets or reports
- Review antivirus Back-Up and RMM reports daily under the patching section.
- Patching
o Monitors client patching, and remedies as needed
o Complete the overnight patching schedule defined by MSS
o Track to make sure patched machines come back online
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience required with Windows desktop operating systems
- Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting Internet connectivity
- Experience with multiuser technology environments (Remote Desktop Services, virtual desktop infrastructure)
- Understanding of relationship between switches, hubs, patch panels and connecting nodes to a network
- Working Knowledge of Wireless Technologies
- Basic Knowledge of M365
Credentials and Experience:
- Great Customer Service Skills
- New hire with no certifications
- Eager to learn
- Takes direction from Engineers/Technicians
Promotion:
- At least one to two years’ work experience
- Billing consistently above 3-X W2 for at least year
- Obtains at least one certification: M365 Certificate - Microsoft Fundamentals Certification - M365.
- Strong positive client feedback, seen as expert in their area
- Shows ability to independently work off site

Compensation
Starting Salary of 45k – 55k. Can be negotiated within that range based on experience, as well as advancement opportunities. PTO, 100% company paid health care benefits plus savings plan, 401K retirement plan.
