What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Designer position at Creative Cove Inc.?
Our agency client is looking for a Production Designer with 3 years' experience to start next week for an open ended contract to support ongoing project work. You will be working with digital assets, product photography and retouching, and must have strong Photoshop skills. Other projects could including working on production for OOH or signage.
Responsibilities:
- Determining what shots are needed for items such as POPS, signage, larger posters etc....
- Sourcing existing photography from our team
- Retouching and cropping images
- Photo and image research
- Following nomenclature and folder structure, handing off images so that they can be pulled dynamically with the data merge
- Take approved concepts through final artwork to proof check and approval
- Ensure printer-provided specifications are faithfully applied to all assets, identifying where specs are unclear or inconsistent
- Strong InDesign and Photoshop skills and a portfolios showcasing previous work with a heavy focus on digital assets and photo retouching.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3 years of experience in production/graphic design, ideally in retail or ecommerce
- Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, self-starter personality, able to manage changing priorities, with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship skills
