Creative Dining Services is growing, and we are looking for looking for Baristas in Saint Louis, MO. The Barista maintains operations at the Perk coffee shop on the Missouri Baptist University campus, while maintaining a positive environment, which provides fast, efficient, and friendly service ensuring a quality experience for both our customers and team members. The Barista is responsible for customer service, product knowledge and education, and encouraging safe work practices.
Work Schedule : AM (morning) availability, Part time : 20-30 hours per week, plus you can take advantage of competitive pay, a robust Employee Assistance Program, earned wage access (optional), and enjoy time off during academic breaks over the winter holidays, and more!
Core Responsibilities :
- Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
- Provides service to the customers in a positive, friendly, helpful manner.
- Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations. Investigates and resolves customer incidents, documenting if necessary.
- Runs a register, other devices and Credit Card Machine accurately, following all cash handling procedures.
- Follows current trends in the coffee business and makes operations suggestions.
