Creative Dining Services at Delta College is seeking a part time Lead Barista.
This is a day shift position - Monday through Friday.
Job Summary
The Lead Barista assists the Supervisor in overseeing daily operations to create a positive work environment and deliver fast, friendly service. In addition to ensuring a high-quality customer experience, the Lead Barista supervises team members, enforces safety protocols, and upholds company standards, fostering a culture of efficiency and collaboration.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and present food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
- Customer Service Management: Respond proactively to prevent customer service situations. Investigate and resolve customer incidents, documenting if necessary.
- Financial Accountability: Ensure accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift.
- Inventory and Stocking: Assist with product management, including inventory of stock.
- Communication and Reporting: Refer and provide information to higher level manager/supervisor regarding issues or concerns; and perform other duties as assigned.
Monday to Friday - part time less than 28 hrs.
