About Us:
Creative Employment Services Inc. is a Supportive Employment Community-Based Integration Training Program for individuals with developmental disabilities ages 18 years and older. We are currently hiring for the following positions (Job Specialist I, II, III). Our area of focus commits to training and hiring individuals with developmental disabilities utilizing a person-centered approach that caters to each individual(s) unique need(s). We believe through empowerment and inclusion we can help to enhance the quality of life of the individuals we serve, by providing integrated and supportive employment within the community.

We are expanding our team and looking for compassionate individuals to provide direct care and personal adjustment services individual(s) participating in our Supported Employment program. Direct care includes job coaching, skills training, assessment, counseling, intervention and advocacy. Case management, documentation and employer contacts are also required along with other services needed to maintain the employment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensuring all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Organizing events to increase staff motivation and engagement.
- Establishing and monitoring employee schedules.
- Assist with intake/onboarding procedures and processes.
- Monitoring on-site projects and field operations.
- Resolving disputes between departments about resources.
· Helping the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
· Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
· Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
· Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant.
· Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Assist with onboarding of new staff, as needed.
- Assist with preparing and filling out forms and other documents.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Manage budgets and forecasts.
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff.
- Find ways to increase the quality of customer service.
- Oversee maintaining and tracking expiration dates of staff documents and company documentation (certifications, licensing, permits etc.).
- Provide administrative support to Job Development Department and Staff.
- Serves as a positive role model to consumer and employer, modeling appropriate work skills, behavior, and social interactions.
- Participates in any agency-required training.
- Serve as a role model for Creative Employment Services, Inc. staff promoting the agency Statement of Purpose, Vision, Values and Philosophy.
- Foster agency and program wide cooperation and teamwork through use of positive / constructive communication techniques.
- Ensure and comply with all Creative Employment Services, Inc. policies and procedures that the individual we serve, and support confidentiality is followed as prescribed by Agency policy and Federal and State Laws.
Qualifications:
Prior to hiring the leadership team/human resources will conduct the employment interview with prospective candidate. Applications will be completed, and prospective employees must complete the following procedure prior to starting work in the consumers. The Staff must also adhere to the following:
- Self-starter and leadership skills.
- Microsoft (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Must have strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Power Point and Excel)
- Must be proficient in written and verbal communication.
- Attention to detail and data entry with minimal errors.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Health Screening Clearance with TB clearance results
- Fingerprint Clearance prior to hire
- Signed Criminal Record Statement
- Signed Dependent Adult Abuse Reporting Requirement
- References and verification of experience will be checked and cleared by Human Resources
- High School Diploma/ GED/ Equivalent
- Clean DMV record. (H-6 Print Out)
- Proof of Full Coverage Auto Insurance
- CPR Certification
- Bi-Lingual is a (plus)

Pay: $27.00 - $29.75 per hour
