Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, and drive efficiency within our finance department. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, fostering professional development and team collaboration.
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to ensure financial stability.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  
  

The Accounting Manager role is fully on-site in Uniontown, OH with a salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 depending on experience.
