Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversee and ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable activities.
- Manage daily, weekly, and month-end AP operations, including the close process.
- Monitor and report key performance metrics.
- Review and approve journal entries related to accounts payable.
- Ensure timely and accurate 1099 filings.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies, recommending process improvements as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in accounts payable or a related function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency with network-based accounting systems.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a commitment to team success.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $70,000 - $77,000
